Sinotruck China National Heavy Duty Truck Company (CNHTC) Shines on the "Pearl of the Silk Road" with Fruitful Roots in Uzbekistan

The ceremony of launching the 3,000th heavy truck of China National Heavy Duty Truck (CNHTC) from CNHTC's joint venture plant in Uzbekistan was held in Samarkand, Uzbekistan. Lin Wu, Secretary of Shandong Provincial Party Committee and Director of the Standing Committee of Shandong Provincial People's Congress, Zhang Haibo, Standing Committee of Shandong Provincial Party Committee and Secretary General of Shandong Provincial Party Committee and other leaders of Shandong Provincial Delegation, and Tuldimov, Governor of Samarkand Oblast, attended the ceremony.

In his speech, Tan Xuguang introduced the operation of the joint venture plant and proposed to deepen the cooperation with local partners to help the "Belt and Road" bear more fruitful results!

After the ceremony, Secretary Lin Wu led a delegation from Shandong Province, accompanied by Governor Turtimov, to inspect the production site of the joint venture plant.

In the afternoon, China National Heavy Duty Truck (CNHTC) and Uzbek Automobile Company (UAC) held a signing ceremony in Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan, to officially launch the new energy bus localisation project.

Before the signing, Secretary Lin Wu met with First Deputy Prime Minister Kuchkalov of Uzbekistan.

Under the joint witness of Lin Wu, Secretary of Shandong Provincial Party Committee and Director of Standing Committee of Shandong Provincial People's Congress, Zhang Haibo, Standing Committee of Shandong Provincial Party Committee and Secretary General of Shandong Provincial People's Congress, Tan Xuguang, Chairman and General Manager of Shandong Heavy Industry Group and Chairman of China National Heavy Duty Truck (SCDT) Group, Kuchkarov, the First Deputy Prime Minister of Uzbekistan, and Rokikov, Chairman of the Board of Directors of UZ-Auto, Liu Wei, Deputy General Manager of SCDT Group and Mukhammadjianov, General Manager of the Joint Venture Company, signed the Strategic Co-operation Agreement.
